PODCAST
Welcome to The Lost Bistro Cabaret, a sophisticated Jazz & Blues club
that showcases absurd short stories.
Stories sung and told with a literary bent and a nod to Arts & Culture. Under its former name, the podcast won the Anthology category at the Minnesota WebFest as well as Platinum and Gold Medals at the National Audio Theatre Festivals.
The French have a saying: "Humor is the last bulwark before despair" (strange, yes, but it sounds better in French). If you can relate to that and enjoy what you hear, feel free to share with, well, one or two million of your closest friends...
"Jude" is one of 25 complete, fully soundscaped Cabaret episodes patiently sitting in the Canary vault, waiting to fly up, up and away into broad daylight.
Unlike "Tashkent" and "TV Hack" featured on our homepage, “Dolores Said You’d Be Here” is one of our longer (18 min.) absurd flash fiction stories. As a standalone piece here, it gives you a further sample of our storytelling. We hope you enjoy it. If you do, bear in mind we have dozens of stories encapsulated in 25 episodes on the shelf, beckoning.
